   I had this trouble several years agone when I updated my desktop from Windwos seven to 10 nether the gratuitous offer. But when I did so, I could never become my Creative SB 10-FI sound card to produce sound in my five.one speaker system. I did everything, and fifty-fifty posted on this forum. Could never get sound, so rolled back to Windows seven.

   Recently received a bulletin indicating Microsoft would terminate back up for Windows 7. Once again I upgraded to Windows x because I want the near secure system.

   I take the aforementioned trouble: no audio from my Artistic SB 10-Fi sound carte (driving a Logitech 5.i speaker system). I upgraded to the latest Artistic Windows x driver for my sound card (Version 6.0.230.12, dated 4/17/2019 past Creative, a new release supposedly in lite of a recent Windows 10 due south/due west update). I've tried everything: ready my sound card to the default playback device, made certain it's enabled, device properties shows the new Creative driver equally the 1 that is being used for the device, only no sound. I even tried fiddling effectually with the "Default Format" under the Avant-garde Tab of Speaker Properties, tried different choices, at i point switched information technology to the highest setting, "32 bit, 192000 Hz Studio Quality" and thought I heard a little audio tone earlier it stopped.
